EnrichLA is a rapidly growing, community wellness non-profit organization that brings edible school gardens to local public schools. We are looking for energetic, passionate, and knowledgeable individuals to join our fast-paced team as a part time Garden Ranger. The Garden Ranger is an educator and gardener at school sites throughout Los Angeles.

Position will begin September 2024 and end June 2025.

Teaching and Gardening 

Hold weekly morning garden classes, at schools assigned, using the EnrichLA garden curriculum. 

Guide students in general care of the garden. Maintain a healthy and bountiful organic garden through seed starting, composting, pruning, successive planting, and planting with seasons.

 

This is a part time independent contractor position usually in the morning hours. Perfect for parents, college students, or individuals looking for a part time job that is rewarding. Starting rate is $125 per half day slot (usually around 8am to 12pm but time-slot can slightly vary). We have schools throughout Los Angeles. Up to 3 mornings per week available. 

 

 If you enjoy working with children, gardening and being outdoors, this is perfect for you! Training will take place in August 2024.

We are looking for Rangers throughout Los Angeles, but particularly in these areas: West Hills, Woodland Hills, San Fernando, North Hills, and West LA areas.
