Hoping for a FRUIT-ful 2021!

As a new year begins, here at EnrichLA we are very optimistic that 2021 will bring growth and positive change. While we don't anticipate being able to resume our programs until the fall (or later), we are still hopeful and excited about all the new partnerships we have built.

We can't wait until we are able to get back to building new school gardens!

Last year we formed a wonderful relationship with Nature Made and Pharmavite, and we are ecstaticto work with them in the future! In 2021 we have plans to build gardens in the San Fernando Valley area once it is safe to do so.

We also had a wonderful event with The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and the El Sereno Community Garden. In partnership with both of these organizations, we were able to distribute free fruit trees to El Sereno community members! We also planted new fruit trees in the El Sereno Community Garden, which is an oasis of trees, plants, flowers, and much more. Being an open space, we ensured everyone present stayed safe by enforcing wearing masks and social distancing. It was an amazing experience to be outdoors during such difficult times!
